"Unfolding in three main sequences, "Motion of Works" is an animation of shapes in constant flux, expanding, contracting, and intersecting. The overlapping of colors and forms generates complex visual interplay, depth of field blur and pixelation. It's a dissection of visual perception, an examination of genesis of shapes and hues, as a step toward finding permanence in other mediums.
Projected onto a textured wall reminiscent of the tactile surface of painting, the animation establishes a direct dialogue with physical artwork counterparts. The connection with another medium plays with notions of materiality and illusion, and prompts us to reevaluate what we consider to be genuine in terms of surface and appearance."
